Get scaling and deep cleaning done.
Gargle after every meal
use soft bristle brush floss your teeth
consult a periodontist.

Good oral hygiene. Brush with soft brush after meals. Avoid snacking. Drink enough water. All these can help. 52 is too young to shed teeth. If you maintain oral hygience your teeth can last many more years.

If there is any chance then go for rct if infection is very deep and surrounding teeth also infected then u should go for extraction

If it’s a single tooth you could go for an extraction followed by replacement of the tooth with an implant for permanent solution or else you could go for RCT of the tooth followed by a 3 unit bridge by taking support of the adjacent tooth for a permanent solution. Take vitamin C.
Also massage gums with turmeric and salt twice daily.
It may not be possible to regrow the gums but it can be stopped.
